Strawberry Fields Mix: Ladyhawke, The Hounds Below, Navajo Youth, Grabass Charlestons, Rhye, Fun., The Lovely Bad Things, Sainte Etienne, Lightouts, Good Old War and more…

Flash back to an old house with a strawberry patch out back. It is a patch worthy of a late night rendevous to reclaim the fruits of youth. This is my childhood. Every February/March when the strawberries come out full bore and Florida celebrates with a festival nestled somewhere within the vast fruit fields I think back to that tiny patch. The beginning. The place where fresh fruit met whipped cream or cake or ice cream or cereal. Where big fat and juicy was the name of the game. A certain bit of nostalgia comes with strawberry season and that is what this playlist is all about. It is a nostalgic ode to lost youths and lost fruits and rising again like a Phoenix or, more appropriately, a strawberry field.
